Officer Canales was doing his job. He was doing what every well may be one of the most dangerous assignments in police work. Chief Hurtt said it clearly, "He cared a lot............." One of those traits that makes an Officer great as opposed to good. R I P Officer Canales, your tour of duty in hell is done.
Good job to Officer Lopez. Hang tough brother.

As for Officer Lopez who took this piece of Sh*t down, Outstanding work there, Brother!!!...it's comforting to know that when things get hot out there....we perform the way we were trained. My prayers go out to Officer Canales family and co-workers. It is always a terrible incident when a Officer is killed. Officer Lopez you did a great job by making sure his killer did not get away. Sorry for what you are having to go through. I am sure the citizens you protect appreciate your courage and dedication.
